The Board of Directors of the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, operator of the Wheels bus system, unanimously elected Pleasanton Councilmember Julie Testa to serve as LAVTA Board Chair for fiscal year 2026. Testa, who was first elected to the Pleasanton City Council in 2018, was appointed to the LAVTA Board of Directors in 2023, served as Vice Chair in fiscal year 2025, and is a member of the Finance and Administration Committee.
