The Assistant Business Manager serves as the operational backbone of Three Little Pigs, ensuring seamless execution of event logistics, inventory management, and general business support. This role is designed to provide direct support to the Business Manager and management team to ensure all physical and logistical aspects of the business are handled with precision.
Translate high-level event plans into detailed "day-of" run sheets and logistics schedules.
Coordinate event staff scheduling and communication to ensure full coverage.
Manage the physical setup and breakdown of event sites, maintaining company quality standards.
Act as a secondary lead for Front of House (FOH) operations during peak event times.
Maintain real-time inventory counts of non-perishable supplies, equipment, and merchandise.
Execute weekly shopping runs for ingredients and supplies as requested by the Pitmaster or Business Manager.
Coordinate with the Marketing Manager for merchandise stock and distribution.
Handle general business "odds and ends," including equipment maintenance drop-offs and supply pickups.
Provide surge support to the Business Assistant for document delivery or physical filing related to licensing and permits.
Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors regarding physical deliveries and on-site needs.
Reliable Transportation: Must have a clean and valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for errands and transport (mileage reimbursed).
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs (event gear, bulk supplies).
Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts.
Communication: Strong professional communication skills for staff and vendor coordination.
Availability: Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends during event peaks.
