Supporting our local eateries during this time is important to the livelihood of our restaurant owners and their employees, even if it’s just to grab an appetizer or treat.
The City of Dublin launched the #DublinEats social media campaign in March 2020 to help promote those local restaurants offering delivery, to-go and curbside service during the Shelter-in-Place Order and while still adhering to the social distancing guidelines.
Let’s Eat, Dublin!
With most restaurants now open in limited operation, and the recent addition of outdoor dining (where available), the City of Dublin is expanding upon the #DublinEats campaign by encouraging community members to show their support for their favorite Dublin restaurants. Starting on July 3, 2020, simply order 10 meals from 10 different restaurants in Dublin, post about each meal on Facebook or Instagram, and then submit screenshots of your posts to receive a $25 gift card to a Dublin restaurant!
How It Works:
Posts on Facebook or Instagram must include three elements:
the tag (or name) of the eating establishment
the hashtag #DublinEats
a unique photo of your meal
Meals must be at least $10 in value and purchased in July or August 2020. Meals can be ordered to-go, for delivery or outdoor dining (where available).
Prizes are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit one prize per household. Promotion is limited to residents and workers in the Tri-Valley area. This promotion will end once all the prizes have been claimed.
To redeem your $25 gift card, simply take screenshots of the ten posts and email them to us. Be sure to include your name and mailing address in your email. (Mailing address must be in the Tri-Valley area.) Once we confirm you have 10 or more eligible #DublinEats posts, we’ll mail you the gift card.
